In 2007 our showcase of street performance took place in Platt Fields Park, Manchester alongise the Feast! Festival presented by Manchester International Arts. The festival took place in beautiful weather around the lakeside of Platt Fields Park, just 2 miles from Manchester City Centre and was devised around the concept or a large public picnic.
Although the programme was smaller that in previous years the event attracted hundreds of delegates and featured a curated programme of over 40 small to medium scale showcase from British and International Street Artists. As well as street theatre, music, dance and strolling performances the showcase featured new daytime shows from Mimbre, Orkestra del Sol, Artizani, Nakupelle, Plunge Boom and more… and night time shows such as Avanti Display's Stormbringer and the incomparable La Sonambula
