Wet Picnic works closely with businesses and education, to develop access to the arts, assist in the organisation of events and training schemes through creative consultation and practised based training. We aim to develop work, which is innovative and rich in visual style whilst being consistently accessible.
• The Not So Secret Service – Security Guards/Boucers
• Mr. Safety – A safety conscious inspector with 50 metres of fabric wadding.
• Parsons Parsons and Parsons – 3 Very colourful tailors who measure, fit and create mobile fashion shows.
• Clammy & Moist, and environmental act made out of recycled materials, with a message in every ice cube.
• Climate Chaos – 2 walkabouts in one focusing on the effects of climate change
• The undertakers – 3 grim figure with a unique out look on death, loss and smoking
All acts are character based walk-about street theatre, which can be changed and altered according to venues and audience size.
We have worked with festivals around the country including Hat Fair, Henley Festival, Manchester International Festival, Salisbury Festival and Latitude creating walk-about street theatre and bespoke installations on a small to mid scale.
