You are invited to join us for Mintfest in Kendal, one of the UK's leading outdoor performance festivals, offering promoters and programmers a unique opportunity to see shows from over 50 outdoor artists and companies. Mintfest is the Flag Ship event of the Lakes Alive season which is a four-year programme of world-class arts events across Cumbria & the Lake District, inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The programme will feature street theatre, music, dance, installations and strolling performance from UK and international companies which will include some new shows and some established festival favourites.

International performances from: Compagnie Luc Amoros (France), Atempo Circ (Catalonia, Spain), Tuig (Netherlands), Commandos Percu (France) and Ponten Pie (Catalonia, Spain)
New outdoor shows from leading UK artists: Akademi, Motionhouse, Axial Dance and Frolicked
New British commissions presented in association with UK street arts consortium Without Walls
Presentations about new work in development plus receptions, panel discussions, networking meetings and social events to be announced

Registered promoters benefit from priority access to all events, a handbook containing information and contact details for all artists, and entry to a festival centre in the heart of the festival site.

The festival is designed for anyone involved in the sector including:

Arts promoters, event programmers and festival organisers
Agents, artists and managers
Local authority teams and arts professionals who would like to network with street arts specialists and learn more about the sector

For anyone involved in outdoor performance this is an essential opportunity to see new work and network with others in the sector. Mintfest is produced by Kendal Arts International and Manchester Arts International in partnership with South Lakeland District Council.
