Psychic medium Madame Narcosis (aka Hazel Smith) is waiting for you to step across her threshold. When you are sitting comfortably, she will lift the veil between this world and the next and – talk to the spirits (pets a speciality). If she’s up to it, you may even witness a rare spiritual manifestation. Be on guard, a ghostly finger may be pointing to you…
A humourous 15 minute show that can be performed 9 times a day to audiences inside a specially created set that is full of surprises.
Paschale Straiton is an artist with 10 years experience in devised and physical performance for theatre, street and site specific contexts. The Seance is available for national/international touring from Autumn 2008 onwards.
Paschale Straiton trained at Circomedia, centre for circus and physical theatre in Bristol. Since graduating has toured nationally with companies such as Cartoon de Salvo, Dot Comedy, Desperate Men, Company f.z. and Forkbeard Fantasy and has been directed by Bim Mason, Flick Ferdinando, Gerry Flanagan, Mick Barnfather and Andy Hay.
She is committed to providing inspiring and visually arresting performance for wide ranging audiences, especially those with a limited access to the arts. She aims to present accessible work in unusual spaces in order to engage members of the general public in an immediate artistic experience.
