Blending melodies from the ancient Simsimiyyia lyre with desert flutes, reed pipes, and the wolf-skin Rababa fiddle, BJB’s signature hypnotic Arabian rhythms are played on a cacophony of junk percussion, including clay jugs, rusty ammunition boxes and jerry cans salvaged from former battle grounds in Sinai.
Concert shows feature colourful Bedouin dance from male and female BJB members along with a traditional coffee grinding ceremony.
